Tuition costs are subject to change and are set each Spring for the following school year by the Board.
Tution payments are due in two installment payments: August 20 and January 20Payment in full on August 20 qualifies for a $300 discount per contract.
Tuition Acceptance/Admission Process- Submit a Letter of Intent
- Letters of Intent may be submitted at any time
- Typically, there are two entry points for admission to Avon Elementary School as a tuition student. Students will be admitted for Marking Period One (first day of school) or Marking Period 3 (mid-January)
- If there is NOT availability in a grade level (reference Tuition Program Policy), Avon School will contact families who have submitted a Letter of Intent once there is availability in the grade level
- All interested applicants will be placed in a pool of candidates until the next screening
- Families who have submitted a Letter of Intent may be invited to complete a Tuition Application including the required non-refundable Application Fee and artifacts
- Avon school administration reviews student records
- Qualified students undergo an on-campus screening
- Review of screening results by administration
- Parent/Guardian will be notified as to acceptance status Tuition Agreement
- Students who are not accepted may reapply at a later time
- If accepted, standard Registration Requirements (Sections II and III only) apply
Important Dates for September Admission- Applications for September enrollment will be accepted up to July 15th. Seat availability may be limited; early applications are encouraged.
- Readiness screening will take place prior to the August Board of Education Meeting
- Superintendent will make recommendations to the Board of Education for acceptance at the August Board of Education Meeting, followed by written notification to parent/guardian of acceptance or non-acceptance

- Readiness screening will take place prior to the December Board of Education Meeting
- Superintendent will make recommendations to the Board of Education for acceptance at the December Board of Education Meeting, followed by written notification to parent/guardian of acceptance or non-acceptance
