    Tuition costs are subject to change and are set each Spring for the following school year by the Board.
    Tution payments are due in two installment payments: August 20 and January 20

    Payment in full on August 20 qualifies for a $300 discount per contract.


    Tuition Acceptance/Admission Process
    1. Submit a Letter of Intent
      • Letters of Intent may be submitted at any time
      • Typically, there are two entry points for admission to Avon Elementary School as a tuition student. Students will be admitted for Marking Period One (first day of school) or Marking Period 3 (mid-January)
      • If there is NOT availability in a grade level (reference Tuition Program Policy), Avon School will contact  families who have submitted a Letter of Intent once there is availability in the grade level
      • All interested applicants will be placed in a pool of candidates until the next screening
    2. Families who have submitted a Letter of Intent may be invited to complete a Tuition Application including the required non-refundable Application Fee and artifacts
    3. Avon school administration reviews student records
    4. Qualified students undergo an on-campus screening
    5. Review of screening results by administration
    6. Parent/Guardian will be notified as to acceptance status Tuition Agreement
    7. Students who are not accepted may reapply at a later time
    8. If accepted, standard Registration Requirements (Sections II and III only) apply
     

    Important Dates for September Admission
    1. Applications for September enrollment will be accepted up to July 15th.  Seat availability may be limited; early applications are encouraged. 
    2. Readiness screening will take place prior to the August Board of Education Meeting
    3. Superintendent will make recommendations to the Board of Education for acceptance at the August Board of Education Meeting, followed by written notification to parent/guardian of acceptance or non-acceptance

    Important Dates for January Admission

    1. Applications for January enrollment will be accepted up to November 15th.
    2. Readiness screening will take place prior to the December Board of Education Meeting
    3. Superintendent will make recommendations to the Board of Education for acceptance at the December Board of Education Meeting, followed by written notification to parent/guardian of acceptance or non-acceptance
