I am excited to embark on the 2024-2025 school year with you and your child! This is my seventeenth year teaching and my third year as a Special Educator and the Girls Soccer Coach at Avon Elementary School. I have taught in grades K-12 throughout the years, with seven of them at the high school level and ten years at the elementary level specializing in working with students through grades 2-8. I take pride in being a part of the process to help your child reach their full potential academically, socially and emotionally. I have a Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education and Special Education and I am an advanced Orton Gillingham certified reading instructor.
When I am not educating young minds, you can find me spending time with my family and friends, playing soccer and basketball, walking the beach looking for shells and seaglass, reading, hiking, paddleboarding and/or riding my bike.
I am looking forward to working with Mrs. Becker, Miss McGowan and Mrs. Silvestri in grades 2, 3 & 7 this school year. I am confident that this is going to be a great year full of learning and positive experiences!
