• Mr. Kuhlthau (Cool-Thaw)
     
    Hello, students and families! My name is Mr. Kuhlthau, and I will be your middle school mathematics teacher this year.
     
    As I enter my thirteenth year overall as an educator, this is my second full year as an Avon Tiger, and I am very excited for the opportunity. I am looking forward to a school year that is filled with many smiles and enriching opportunities. Mathematics was my favorite and most memorable school subject, and I am hoping to make it yours as well.
     
    I have a Bachelor's Degree in Secondary Education and Mathematics from The College of New Jersey. Teaching is my passion, but when I am not in the classroom, I enjoy going to the beach, lifeguarding, playing sports, and spending time with my wife, two daughters, family, and friends.
     
    I am looking forward to an awesome school year together!
