Mr. Scott Pauciello

My name is Mr. Scott Pauciello and here are some things about me...

This is my third year teaching at Avon Elementary School, my 13th year teaching overall.  I am beyond excited to be teaching social studies, as it has always been a passion of mine since I was a kid! This year, I will be teaching grades 6-8 in social studies. In addition, I will be providing in class support in 7th grade mathematics and science. I will also be providing in class support and instruction in 4th grade social studies. I really like that I can be a "Utility Infielder" at AES and work with so many different students, subjects, and students.

I have a wonderful family who I love dearly.  My wife Carolyn is a registered nurse.  My son Duke is 5 and loves dinosaurs and superheroes.  My son Dominic will be turning 3 in December and he loves music, dancing, and sports.  We also have a dog named Lucky who is our companion and security system. We rescued him from Texas so we like to think if he talked, he would talk with a southern accent.

I love all things sports.  Specifically, the Green Bay Packers and the Philadelphia Phillies.  I love to travel, read, and spend quality time with my family.

Some of my favorite HISTORICAL things...

Movie- "Saving Private Ryan"

Book- "1776" by David McCullough

Person (Male)- Teddy Roosevelt

Person (Female)- Eleanor Roosevelt

Time Period- Revolutionary War

Place I have visited- Beaches of Normandy, France where D-Day invasion of WWII took place

If I could travel back in time I would...

See Vince Lombardi and the Green Bay Packers of the 1960's play a game or see Jackie Robinson play at Ebbets Field in Brooklyn, NY in the 1950's
