Mr. Scott Pauciello

My name is Mr. Scott Pauciello, and I teach middle school social studies (5th-8th grade) at Avon Elementary School. Here are some things about me!

This is my 9th year at Avon Elementary School, my 19th overall teaching.  I am beyond excited about teaching social studies, as it has been my passion since I was a kid! I have a wonderful family that I love dearly.  My wife Carolyn is a registered nurse and truly the most giving and caring human I have ever met.  My son, Duke, is eleven and in 5th grade. He loves to read about history, he is obsessed with the Philadelphia Phillies, and collecting baseball cards. He has a pretty impressive collection of cards at this point! My son Dominic is eight and loves baseball, the Philadelphia Phillies, and riding his bike. He is also very funny, which I think he got from his dad! Lastly (and certainly not least) we welcomed a new member to our family earlier this year. She is named Winnie and she is the sweetest and most lovable pup this world has ever seen! She has brought such light and happiness to our home! As I call her, she is a real "angel baby

I love all things sports, specifically the Green Bay Packers and the Philadelphia Phillies. I also love to travel, read, bike ride, and spend quality time with my family and friends.

Some of my favorite HISTORICAL things...

Movie- "Dunkirk"

Book- "1776" by David McCullough

Person (Male)- Teddy Roosevelt

Person (Female)- Eleanor Roosevelt

Time Period- Revolutionary War

The place I have visited-The Beaches of Normandy, France, where the D-Day invasion of WWII took place

If I could travel back in time, I would...

See Vince Lombardi and the Green Bay Packers of the 1960s play a game at Lambeau Field or see Jackie Robinson play at Ebbets Field in Brooklyn, NY, in the 1950s.
