• First Day Packet 

    Whether it is the start of the new school year or your child's first day here, please review the list of Parent/Guardian Actions Items below which are essential for all Avon Elementary students.

    Parent/Guardian Action Items:

    • Three (3) mandatory forms / two optional forms / one electronic task
    • Must be completed prior to the first day of attendance
    • Please contact Mrs. Nancy Rose at 732-775-4328 ext. 102 for additional assistance/clarification and submit these documents to the Main Office in person or by email to nrose@avonschool.com

    FORM - Dismissal Procedure Form (PER CHILD)

    This form designates how your child(ren) will be dismissed at the end of each school day. Please complete one form per child, selecting only ONE option, and submit to the office on or before the first day of school.  

    FORM - Health History Update (PER RETURNING CHILD)

    Only for returning students - NEW students completed this form as part of intial registration.

    FORM - Student-Parent Handbook Acknowledgement (PER CHILD)

    Please review the Student-Parent Handbook <www.AvonSchool.com/Handbook> with your child(ren), and have each child sign the Acknowledgement. Note that the Student Photography Permission must be signed by the Parent/Guardian

    TASK - Update Parent Contact Information in the Parent Portal

    Upon initial registration of your child(ren), you received an automated email notification explaining the steps necessary to activate your Student Information System (Genesis) Parent Portal Account (student attendance, gradebook, etc.).

    Avon School utilizes school website Homepage Announcements and Broadcast E-Mails to guardian contact email addresses listed in the Student Information System (Genesis) to distribute timely information. The school may also send Emergency Notification or E-Alerts via text message to guardian mobile phone contact addresses listed in the Student Information System (Genesis) - see www.AvonSchool.com/EAlerts

    Maintaining your Parent Contact Information within the Parent Portal is essential in order for school staff to be able to contact you in the event of sickness, injury, or school emergency
