Evaluation Policies
As part of the Teach NJ Act passed by the New Jersey Legislature in 2012, the New Jersey Department of Education now requires all school districts to evaluate teachers using state approved rubrics. The Avon School District uses the Danielson Model to evaluate all certificated staff. The Danielson Model is one of the state's approved programs.
