Mission

AES SEPAG Mission Statement
The mission of the Avon Elementary School Special Education Parent Advisory Group (SEPAG) is to foster a strong, collaborative partnership between families of children receiving special education services, the AES administrative team and the school community. Our main goal is to serve as an active bridge—connecting caregivers, educators, and administrators to support a shared vision of student success.

We are committed to open, respectful, and transparent communication that strengthens the special education experience for all involved. Through advocacy, feedback, and resource sharing, we work to empower families, champion the needs of students, and promote a more inclusive and enriching environment. Together, we aim to ensure every student receiving special education services has the opportunity to thrive—and that our efforts uplift the entire school community.
